FAQ's

Is Online Sourcing really free for Customers?
It is totally free, no hidden charges ever.

How much does Online Sourcing cost for Suppliers?                                                                                               Register using promo code fab1109 and it is free for Suppliers too!

What happens when the promo code expires?
There are no plans for the promo code to expire. Thats right, no charges for Suppliers too!

What about the payment requests when I register?
Please disregard the payment process when registering. You may be required to check a box but you do not need to enter any payment information. It is FREE for everyone!

Is there a simple way to invite my suppliers?
Yes, the "Contact Us" page has a simple e-mail notification that can be sent to your suppliers.

How long after I register can I use Online Sourcing to post or respond to RFQ's and ASQ's?
Almost immediately but we recommend you get familiar with our site before releasing or responding to RFQ's and ASQ's..

Can I register as both a Customer and Supplier?
A Supplier has all the benefits of both a Customer and Supplier so you shouldn’t need to, but if for some reason you want to register as both, the answer is Yes, but the accounts must have a different User Name and e-mail address. Unless you have different websites you should leave the Company Website field blank on one of your accounts.

Is OnLineSourcing.net  just for production parts?
No, you can use OnLine Sourcing for anything made of metal and it is amazing how many things are made of metal.
Just a few examples: clips, brackets, assemblies, machine parts, guarding, racks, etc...

Where do I get a Non-Disclosure Agreement "NDA"?
An example NDA is provided on your Account page which was written specifically for OnLine Sourcing LLC. We recommend drafting your own NDA to match your exact needs.

What happens after I post an RFQ or ASQ?
You will be contacted directly by qualified Suppliers with questions and quotes.
The process is similar to how you manage quoting work with any of your Customers and Suppliers.

Do I have to use an OnLineSourcing.net Supplier once I have posted an RFQ or ASQ?
We do encourage you to acknowledge their efforts, but you are not obligated to use any registered Customers or Suppliers.

I am not a registered Customer or Supplier, how do I post an ad on the Posting Board pages?
The Posting Board registration prompt is located on the left side of the Posting Board page. Once you are registered you will have access to all of the posting sites.

How do I get other OnLine Sourcing questions answered?
We encourage questions and suggestions, so please reference our "Contact" page.
